The administration plan for Vietnamese standardized test of English Proficiency (VSTEP.3-5) – Exam date on 10th November, 2024
- University of Languages and International Studies announces the administration plan for Vietnamese standardized test of English Proficiency (VSTEP.3-5) according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam, as follows:
- Exam date: Sunday, November 10th, 2024
- Level: Level 3 (B1), Level 4 (B2), and Level 5 (C1)
- Candidates: all of those who need VSTEP.3-5 certificates
- Exam fee: 1.800.000đ
- Exam venue: Building B3 University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University – Pham Van Dong Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi
- Exam mode:computer-based test
- Registration procedure
– Step 1:
Candidates need to prepare:
+ A photo (4cm×6cm) taken no more than 06 months before the registration day.
+ The front and back image of a valid identification document that candidates will use in the exam (i.e., ID card or passport).
– Step 2: Candidates make online registration for the exam via https://vstep.vnu.edu.vn/dangky/
– Step 3: Candidates transfer the exam fee (1,800,000 VND per candidate) according to the instructions of the online registration system
- Time for registration and payment: From October 10, 2024 to October 29, 2024
The registration for the exam is considered valid only after the candidate completes the registration form and successfully transfers the exam fee.
- Result announcement and certificate pickup:
– Exam announcement: from 03 to 05 days after the exam date.
– Certificate issuance: 14 days after the exam date (The certificate template is in accordance with the current regulations by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates can refer to the certificate template at the link: https://vstep.vnu.edu.vn/ocv/)
- Re-mark request:
– Within 03 days after the announcement of the test results, candidates who want their tests to be re-marked need to submit online their re-mark requests and re-mark fee via https://vstep.vnu.edu.vn/dangky/ (click on ĐĂNG KÝ PHÚC KHẢO);
– Candidates must use the registration number to complete their re-mark requests;
– Re-mark fee: 800.000 VNĐ/request;
– The remark results will be announced concurrently with the results of the next examination.

Notes:
– The school announces the detailed exam schedule three days before the exam date on the website: https://vstep.vnu.edu.vn
– ULIS will not organize an examination if the number of registered candidates is below 100 per examination session, and the applications will be transferred to the next examination session when the required number of candidates is reached.
– The examination registration system will cease to accept applications once the required number of candidates has been reached for an examination session
